Each season of Ensemble workshops will conclude with a showcase of performances and screening of film work representative of what has been developing. This event is intended to
celebrate the achievements, discoveries, and progress made throughout the season, providing an opportunity to enjoy and reflect on the community and shared experience of the creative process. Guests of the ensemble will be welcome.
Mischa Baka and Siobhan Jackson have co-directed two feature films: Saltbush and You Can Say Vagina. Both projects were supported by extensive workshops that played a significant role in shaping their development. While the workshops directly informed and contributed to the creation of these films, they are not intended as a pipeline for specific projects. Instead, the workshops are designed to be part of an artist's ongoing practice, providing participants with valuable techniques and opportunities to develop their craft independently of the filmmakers' specific works.
